I learned how to take better and more effective notes in class though How to Take Notes in Class and it has 5 best methods like outline method, couruell method, mind map method, flow method and write on the slides method. For me, I prefer couruell method, it has three distinct sections that cue, note taking and summary. For listening activities , I think listening is hard because their pronunciation and speed of speech. I often listen several times for each activity. I like listening about my hobby like fashion, game, history, etc. It like The 5 Best Methods, because it uses game to introduce the methods. I learn a lot from listening that I can find keywords and some details, listening like an essay, it include topic body and summary, when I listening, I think of it as an article. I spend a lot of time on listening, listening is my weaknes. Sometimes I listening with subtitles, after one time I listening without it , I think that is a good way to improve my listening, in the end I listening with subtitles again to check my error. My goal for the second half of semester is that parctice more listening and speech, finish homework carefully, in my free time talk more with stranger native.
