Self-Reflection Persuasive speech
Self-Reflection Persuasive
speech
For this
speech, I pay more time on topic, but for the speech’s details I have some
problems. It took me about half an hour to prepare it even I tried to change
topic B. In the end I chose topic a, because I think of an interesting story
about my childhood. The story about my childhood in the speech is my own
experience. I didn't complete all the functions of the speech. I think the main
points of my topic are clearly. I didn't prepare the visual aids. I think good
visual aids should have a good demonstration on the blackboard. My ideas are
not for particular audience because my topic is do not be impulse, is for
everyone, everyone has impulsive moments. I have an interesting real childhood
experience to attract my audience. People can quickly understand my topic
through my story. My speech ended in a hurry. In the process of my speech, I
used my voice change to better explain my topic, but I didn't keep eye contact
all the time. I didn't get feedback on my speech. Maybe my story attracted the
audience. The feedback I want to get is to recognize the severity of the
impulse so that my reasons can help them. In my speech I summed up three
reasons for my impulse, but it’s hard to have more details for each reason
about impulse. I will choose a good topic for the next speech, and I should find
out the reasons that are easy to describe. My goal for next speech is that do
brainstorm first, practice more, and discuss with teachers and classmates.
